First run today since graduation and without Laura. After getting my Mum better I got sick this week so didn't get out. Have felt so down. So, lovely sunny autumn day here today so I thought even if I don't manage 30 minutes straight off I really wanted to get out there.
As it was I had my playlist - I did my 5 minute warm-up and then managed 15 minutes before my breathing decided it really wasn't playing. So, I decided then to try and walk for one song and run for one. Overall, I ran for 30 minutes but with intervals inbetween; but I'm happy with that because I'm back on track :-).
Happy running everyone

Good idea to use songs for your interval timing, takes your mind off the clock I find. Now that you have been out, and enjoyed some nice autumn weather, hopefully we'll be hearing more success stories to keep us all going
Well done curly. It took some time for me to easily run 30 min after my graduation but it will come with time. Now you'll want to get the running back into a routine while the landscape looks attractive and it is not too cold. (Mind you it reached -2 here already). Once winter is with us, it gets less tempting to head out, so make good use of autumn now to settle back into your running.
Great to see you back curlyann๐ hope you & your mum feeling better! The 30mins continuous is hard going & I've been pushing myself to keep the gremlins away๐๐ it's tough after a break and I think the key words are enjoy it!! You out there running that's all that matters๐๐๐๐x take care!
