Managed to get back to running on Monday this week with W2R1 after about 3weeks off with a hurt ankle. Just completed W2R2 today and it felt good. Still a little bit of pain when running but it’s not causing me to limp after like before. When not running only have an odd bit of pain when walking down stairs. I have been running this week with an ankle support on, think it’s just a case of building strength up now. This week I have made a conscious effort to slow down. I walk quite fast normally so my brisk walk can be fast. I think that first week I may have over done it starting to fast.

Great you're back running . Just keep a close eye on your ankle any real pain, stop. Good luck 😊

Good to see you back. As a fast brisk walker you may find little if any pace difference between that and conversational paced running. Enjoy run 3.

Yeah I’ve tried this week, in particular today to just change from brisk walk into a jogging motion without altering the pace which seemed to work well today.

Nice... that’ll be right in the prime heart rate for aerobic and muscle development in all probability.
