Ok. This week feels easier than the previous one. It seems like I’ve either built up some strength or finally figured out how to jog properly. Most likely both
Now I feel great and am looking forward to my next run, but I’m also a bit upset that I’m not feeling as tired after my runs anymore. The first week was the toughest so far. I remember how I rushed to the shower after coming back home, and how it took me some time to stop feeling hot after the run. But now I don’t feel like that anymore, and the thought is creeping in that maybe I’m not doing enough. Should I increase my speed a bit? What do you guys recommend?

Well done, Rustig. You're probably experiencing an increase in fitness levels. I'd avoid going further or going faster as this could lead to injury/burnout. I'd recommend following the program as you have been doing. Best of luck.
You should be able to hold a conversation while you jog, so don't push yourself beyond that, especially at this early stage. Week 1 is such a shock to the system (especially when you haven't run for decades) that I think some of the breathless sweatiness is psychosomatic. Now your body is getting used to the change in pace, so keep going as you are.
Incidentally I always have breakfast while I cool down after a run, then have a shower, otherwise it just makes me even hotter.
Well done you! I’m about to go and do my W3R1 and dreading it 🫣 I’m still reacting as your W1…, can’t wait for it to feel easy/er 😁 maybe by the end of W 3 perhaps….
Let's hope! For me things has changed when I found out my own pace. It is slow. Like really slow . I was almost dying during my week 1, and people over here was recommending me to slow down. And it helped! Now I am looking forward to my next run!
I did it! At one point I started running too early because I thought I’d missed the cue and had been walking ‘too long’ (the 3 min walk). I ran for a minute before I realised I should have been walking 😆 and yes, I’m mastering the art of slow running. It’s like magic 😁
Noooooo… my second time! I did it 3 years ago. Winter came, then an injury then the couch took over (again). I’m setting a goal of being able to to do 10k by this time next year. I think my mistake last time was my goal to complete C25k but not having anything else after that. Let’s hope it works 😉
