Week 1 Run 3

Just done my third run! All in all it went pretty well 😊 I stuck to focussing on my breathing like last time and kept the same steady pace.

I feel like I did better on my second run than this one, I think mainly because it started to rain a bit and I found that to be quite distracting! But ups and downs are to be expected and I still had energy to spare at the end and it was still miles better than my first ever run so I call that a win 😊

I’m nervous to start week 2! 😬 but I’m gonna give it my best shot! Thanks again for all the advice and support! 😊

Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K, onwards and upwards to week 2.Take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water the day before you run and some before, don't worry or feel nervous about week 2, the program has prepared you for all the runs, keep ridgidly to the program, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck.

I also just completed week 1, run 3 and, same as you, I think my second was a bit better. However I know I just need to focus on what I have achieved as I never thought I would ever run! I have problems with my knees but I really need some exercise and options are pretty limited right now. Congratulations HexGirl - keep at it. I’m nervous about week 2 too!

Well done HexGirl, nothing to worry about, you’re doing great nice to hear your getting your breathing into a nice steady rhythm and you’re obviously pacing yourself correctly as you still had energy to spare at the end 👍🏃‍♀️
