Noo shoos!

Having looked into these shoes that Frizzbomb67 asked about, I decided to order the support version, Brookes Launch GTS. They arrived quickly, and included a free pair of running socks!

When I first tried them on I thought they were awful, really stiff and solid, like putting a cardboard box on my feet. I was certain I would return them, but just tried them on one more time the next day, and they felt fine!

I currently run in Brooks Adrenaline, so I put one of each on my feet, and couldn't tell much difference, except the Launch is more sloped at the front. I imagine it will propel you forward somewhat!

I bought these just for everyday walking shoes, to wear with jeans and casual stuff, but now I think I might actually take them out for a little run and see how they are!

I didn't like the fluorescent yellow laces, so changed them for white ones, I'll certainly be keeping these.

They're nice!!!My laces weren't really long enough to double knot either, so I swapped mine too!

Weird isn't it? Some laces are way too long, some are too short...

I like my Adrenalines, quite solid but quite stable.

I thought I was going to have new shoes too, but they didn't agree with me at all so they are currently winging their way back from whence they came! Back to the drawing board!

Very pretty shoes and they look very comfortable too. If it was me I’d use them on dry days and on tarmac too to keep them clean. 😂

Those are pretty! I’ve gone over to Brooks trainers in the past few months and been really pleased. I think I need some of those ones in my life now! 😍😍😍

They had light support, and neutral, and lots of other Brooks shoes, I think they are just older models.

It’s interesting-I’ve run in support shoes for a long time but when I met a Brooks rep, she recommended neutral ones and they’ve been excellent. I see they’re bringing out a Hyperion GTS version so I think it’s important that I try that out to see how it’s different!!! Any excuse for new shoes…

At my gait analysis last year, I was also advised I didn't need support shoes and was sold neutral Mizunos. A few months later I developed a terrible pain in my hip, which has pretty much dissipated since I've gone back to support shoes. Now, of course, I am in the age bracket for osteoarthritis, which the physio diagnosed, but my x ray came back showing no problem...I'm sticking to my support shoes...

You're probably a lot younger than me, but just be aware and keep an open mind, but yes, any excuse for new shoes!

Not what you're looking for?
