That was amazing!!! What a fantastic atmosphere with fantastic people 😁I'd highly recommend it to anyone...plus you get to make a few quid for a great charity.
The only downside was the heat..it was bloomin' boiling!!! Still managed to get round in just over 30mins and got my first ever running medal!!!

You might like to know that over on the Marathon forum - healthunlocked.com/marathon... - there's a weekly pompoms post, specifically to show support for those who are taking part in races or similar organised events such as "Race for Life."
You absolutely don't have to be a dedicated racer or doing longer distances to get involved, so if you're planning on entering more events, do feel free to pop over. Same applies to anyone else reading this!
And while I'm at it, and in the same spirit, there's a weekly parkrun thread over on the Bridge to 10K forum: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto10k
This is such a great point-Marathon and Race Support is such a friendly board (and Bridge to 10k too!). You’ll see so many faces you recognise on both boards Carners1 and you’ll be made very welcome. There’s no rule about posting in one place only-see what feels right with how your running progresses next.
