Race for life

I've just registered for 5k race for life . My original plan was to do the 10k one at clumber park before my injury & I suppose I could have still gone for that because it's not while July , but thinking about it & I've roped my daughter & a friend to start the c25k , I'm going back to wk 1 in feb when I get the all clear , & doing it with them & we are all doing the race together. So something to focus on while I recover .

May be folk who get others to complete the programme should get a star or a number to show how many they have introduced next to their name. It'd be nice to run with someone else, as it can feel a bit lonely, but I'm no way near doing a parkrun yet. Well done on signing up to the 5k and on getting others to do the programme.

Thanks tinyrun . I know u say your not ready for a park run , but could you not just go check your nearest one out as a spectator . That's what I did , then I entered a couple of wk later . I was last lol , but I really enjoyed the experience & every one is so friendly .

Yay! I registered yesterday too at Hastings! Me and a couple of colleagues are going to do it as the 'Rother Rookies'! I wouldn't even have considered the 10k! You're waaaay ahead of me in the confidence stakes if you considered that one! ;-)

Do u know what Jen ,I really would have ! I would have had a damn good go lol . My hubby says I'm nuts at my age . But my motto is if u don't try u don't know , when do u go to physio ? Is it today ?
