Well i did it! My second 5k race since starting my running adventures and what made it more special was that my sister travelled down from the highlands of Scotland to do it with me. To say i struggled the last km would be an understatement but the atmosphere and comaraderee was amazing and as we approached the finish line we spotted the time on 29.40 looked at each other and then just legged it literally to cross the line at 29.58!! So so happy and a new pb for me i really didn't expect to do a sub 30 and during the race had slowed the pace a bit as my legs started to get tired so was a huge shock when i saw the time! Fantastic experience and thought i would show off with a bling pic ☺
