W6R1 under the belt

Good morning everyone,

So after completing the 20' on Saturday, was out at 8am to kick off week 6. It was a little harder than I thought it would be, maybe because I felt I had completed the 20' challenge, but again with the help of a podcast, I pulled through. I am hoping to complete R2 sometime this week (running during the week is always a challenge for me because I am just tired from work and have little spare time), and then R3 on Saturday.

Wishing everyone a good Monday!

Fantastic! It’s pretty common to find week 6 run 1 tricky! I went off like a rocket and ran out of puff. Sounds like you still had a good experience-being able to coach yourself through a run you’re finding hard is a great skill to have in your run belt. Enjoy the next one-perhaps try and take it extra steady and you might have a nicer time! Hope it’s a good week for you. ❤️🏃‍♀️💪

You’re doing great and well done for getting that week 6 run 1 done, it’s a tough one for sure. I’d love to be one of those people who go for a very early morning run before work but my head gets so sweaty I don’t have time to wash, dry and tame the hair before work 🙄🙈.

Good luck on the rest of your runs.
