W6R3 - another week under the belt! This really works!

Isn’t it incredible? I can’t believe I just ran for 25 minutes! I was euphoric when I completed the 20 last week, but with the first 2 runs this week going ‘back’ to interval running, I really wondered if I could manage the 25 or if it’d been a flash in the pan last week! But no, here I am, sweaty and totally chuffed with myself! It is amazing that the steps up are manageable- looking at it when I started I couldn’t imagine going from 3 to 5 to 8, let alone 20 and 25! Loving the feeling though. Bring on next week!

Snap! I’m sat here all hot and sweaty and in disbelief too having just completed W6R3!! When are you intending to do your next one?

On Monday Tassiedebs! How about you? I’m planning Monday and Wednesday, but then we are away for the weekend for a wedding, so I’ll fall behind.

Yeah same! Although I’m afraid it depends on whether I can force myself out of my pit at 05.45 before work or not!!! After work never happens despite good intentions!!!

Oh my goodness! That sounds awfully early! Luckily I don’t have that problem. 😮

Me too! Where are you up to?

I just started Week 8 this morning. I didn’t think I could ever run let alone enjoy it. I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. A friend encouraged me to try it and I’m so glad I did. 🙋🏻

Me too. I’ve lost a lot of weight this year. I will turn 60 next year and didn’t want to go into the next decade fat, unfit and unhealthy!! So this is the icing on the cake. A great feeling. Good luck with week 8 x

Fantastic #Merrybell! I must correct you on one thing however: it’s *you* that really works, and it’s *your progress* that’s incredible! Well done!

Took today off work for some Christmas shopping ... off to see my 2 daughters in Oz in 2 weeks ... so still got up (reasonably) early and just completed W7R1 ... took a bit of determination but worth it after ... good luck with yours today! 😊

Sitting here with my morning coffee. It looks absolutely freezing outside! Definitely needs mental resolve! Enjoy your shopping. Oz will be lovely for running at this time of the year you lucky lady! Xx

:) The thing about mental resolve is actually quite simple. You either want or you don't want to do something. It doesn't only look freezing, it is literary freezing this morning. Although l returned home around 7.30 and was drenched in sweat, when l left home the cold was really biting in. The key is simple - just go and run ;)

As for the sun? I ran in extreme heat of up to 40c last summer, a completely different ball game where your body fights fatigue and dehydration so, yes please, give me frost any time! :)
