Hi all, continuing with run 2 of week 5, I'm slowly improving but still not quite jogging for the two eight minute run sections, for the first run I managed 9:39, on the second it was 11:37 and this one was 12:35 of actual run time, so getting there slowly, still a long way to go but no rush to complete c25k, every step forwards is a gain.๐
Repeat runs,: Hi all, continuing with run 2 of... - Couch to 5K
Repeat runs,
Very well done you... getting where you wish to be !
well done ๐! I did two 5k club runs this week ! They were fun but tough! Week 6 run 3 tomorrow!
Are you running somewhere on that map clipping?
streetmap.co.uk/map?X=38329...
...which, incidentally, is 1:25K, not C25K. ๐
Hi Nowster, C25K = couch to 5 K, I know the map is at 1:25000 scale and yes my run is marked by the pale green line next to the canal.
Clearly marked and what a terrific run it looks to be ! Did you get to Portmerion yet? We had some glorious days sunshine last week ! x
Hi Oldfloss, Portmerion seems a distant memory now, got back last Tuesday, now trying to plan for next holiday ๐
Oh gosh... we got home yesterday and left a glorious sunny day behind... I am lucky,,,I will be back in Criccieth in ten days!
Hope you find time for another holiday soon!
I was last in Portmeirion in July two years ago. A gloriously sunny and hot day. Long queues for anywhere selling drinks. Did a lot of walking on the various paths round the coast and in the woods whilst Herself perused the shops.
I love running alongside canals as for the most part they are flat (until you reach a lock). I've one about a mile away.
Itโs great on the fairly flat paths, and doing the same route out and back means you can see the improvement by how far you increase the distance at the bell.
Another great run for you Pete !Your obvious determination will see you through ๐๐๐
I don't know if it's determination or that I'm just to daft to know I can't ๐ค.
That sort of daftness has so much to recommend it Petem56 . So good to see you back with C25K, have fun!
Itโs also that daftness that has had me spending unplanned nights on Scottish mountains once or twice๐ฌ
That could've ended badly. Says she who, with husband and dog, arrived back at a campsite at 2.00am after we omitted to read map contours properly. In the foothills of the Pyrenees. โฐ๏ธโฐ๏ธโฐ๏ธ
Happy running!
I'm used to wild camping, so not too risky and always carry super light bivy tarp, I'm not that daft.
Great run! You are doing it, your determination is the winning formula Iโm sure of it! Inspirational to others like me just about to start week 5. You got this!
