Donโt ask me why, but right at the start I began to label all my runs. So I can tell you that today was my 600th run since starting C25K.
I was a little bit conflicted because my 7th runniversary is not far away, but too far to wait. Hey, this way I get to celebrate twice!
For those of you still at the beginning of C25K and wondering if it ever gets easier, it was not an easy run ๐ - I was knackered and had to stop and walk a few times. But it was a successful run because I was out there in the Spring sunshine, running at my own pace.
Happy running everyone!

Bloomin' 'eck, I was there too this afternoon! Just walking the noble hound and bird watching although I did wonder about a 'cheeky little run' in my sandals and jeans but as I did one of those on Monday I thought it might be a bit risky to do it again so soon (No sign of you know what and I looked hard... laughed at the Canada Goose on the osprey platform and admired various peak condition tits and a bullfinch).
For the information of other newbies, no run at Carsington is ever easy but Anniemurph is a glutton for punishment.
I didn't even bother looking for the wretched thing. Is it even still there? There were loads of people with binocs and I did wonder about asking them all.
I set off from the Visitor Centre and headed for Sheepwash - got past there but turned around just before the dark side and the bigger hills It was rather warm puffing up the inclines!
Oooh, oooh, oooh Anniemurph I just remembered there was a funny looking bird on the water I thought might be 'it' and then decided wasn't but I've just looked up and it was, it was, it was!
Thank you - although Carsington and I have a bit of a love-hate relationship ๐
Yes, 10th April. I can't decide whether just to re-do Week 1 Run 1 in the very same place, which will be fun (and I've done that before), or treat myself by going somewhere brand new. It might depend on the weather xxx
Thank you, IP! I'm sure there are people who complete 600 runs in a month (well, okay, not really ๐) but it makes me happy that I started and I stuck to it and I will keep going xxx
Unfortunately, there's no swimming in the reservoir. It's chock full of blue algae and is therefore poisonous ๐ญ Although you are allowed to sail on it, which always worried me slightly when my daughters capsized...
I was just thinking abo0ut you the other day, wondering if you were still running - not seriously thinking that - of course you are! Congrats on your two runniversaries xx
You must be very organized to know how many runs youโve done sonce you began! CONGRATS ANNIE! That is great and the 7th runniversary is the icing on the cake! ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
