Hello everyone. I graduated couch to 5k and today was my first run to consolidate. I repeated week 9 run 3 as not able to find the maintenance runs on the app. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Much as I love Sanjeev it would be nice to have a change! I’m very much a jog plodder and can run 30 minutes (slowly!) but not complete 5k so my long term aim is to be able to run 5k. Couch to 5k has been a great programme for me and really does work. This is a great community and I look forward to the daily digest email every day 😊

Congratulations on graduating, continuing to consolidate with 30 minute runs is a good idea for a while. I like Nike run club app for guided runs, there's lots of 30 minute ones on there and a different guided voice.

You could...during your consolidation try the C25K + podcasts... they are fun...but... different. They teach us so much,,, about the disciplines in our running... Stepping Stones is the first... and you may find it , interesting...

Another vote for the Nike Run Club app. They do many guided runs, either distance or time - take your pick.
Many of us are ‘plodders’ and proud of it! Good luck with your consolidation runs! 😊🏃♀️👍

once I graduated I put together a 5 week programme where I could simply explore different apps, different tours and different S&F workouts,

I still have fond memories from those weeks?
Well done for graduating!!!

Yes, NRC. I would recommend repeating W9 R1 or R2 for a few weeks first, though. (The congratulations at the end of W3 start to wear after a while).

Really well done graduating! It's incredible how far we come from those early weeks of a minute or two bursts where you feel you might just collapse I made the mistake of just setting off too fast on those earlier runs and struggled to get my breath.
I'm on week 8 run 3 next and I'm feeling very close now and also thinking about how I can continue with this wonderful running thing, as I'm totally hooked.
I had to take a week out with a cold and tried the Zombies run app for a trial run, before continuing with the C25k program. I found that really good. You can set specific run times in it and it's a lot of fun.
Other people seem to be recommending the Nike Run club app which seems very popular - or they are repeating the last few runs of the C25k app.
I had a look around and there doesn't seem to be much else worth trying.
My intention is to consolidate and improve my time a little. I do manage 5k but only when it includes the warm up walks.
After this, I'm aiming for 10k. There's a forum here that acts as a bridge to it.

I've not looked in depth yet, but hope it's useful
Brilliant job well done
Congratulations on your success so far.
