Today was our longer outing, wewent to the river, completed week 1 run 2 easily, did the 5 minute walk then turned and walked back, so with walking we covered 5k and had a lovely time Oddly enough my neighbour ran really slow to start with and kept to the same pace for each run section, but we covered a little further πŸ˜„

Doing well! Crumbs, 5k for week 1 is good, even including warm up and cool down! πŸ€—πŸ‘πŸƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well done to you Sola and your neighbour on completing run 2 of week 1 of C25K, so your neighbour is running a little slower than you thought she would, there is no need to go fast in any of the runs, after a day off it's onwards and upwards to run 3 of the first week of C25K for both of you. 😊 πŸ‘βœ…

The cowslips along the side of the track are lovely, as a child living in the back of beyond we used to hunt for them and be very excited if we found any as they were very rare, now there are so many of them it feels like a treat to see them

Sometimes on a sunny weekend it's quite busy, there seems to be a cycling club and a running club that I've seen or passed, which means a lot of hellos, more dogs at the weekend too so even more hellos and sometimes a horse or two, there is a track that follows the river and is a bit rougher and narrower, I've walked and run along there but although the views across the river are beautiful running is a bit precarious and much slower. There's always plenty of room to pass others though, even groups

All my routes can be busy when the weather is good…the price to pay I guess.
