Today was our longer outing, wewent to the river, completed week 1 run 2 easily, did the 5 minute walk then turned and walked back, so with walking we covered 5k and had a lovely time Oddly enough my neighbour ran really slow to start with and kept to the same pace for each run section, but we covered a little further π

Well done to you Sola and your neighbour on completing run 2 of week 1 of C25K, so your neighbour is running a little slower than you thought she would, there is no need to go fast in any of the runs, after a day off it's onwards and upwards to run 3 of the first week of C25K for both of you. π πβ

Sometimes on a sunny weekend it's quite busy, there seems to be a cycling club and a running club that I've seen or passed, which means a lot of hellos, more dogs at the weekend too so even more hellos and sometimes a horse or two, there is a track that follows the river and is a bit rougher and narrower, I've walked and run along there but although the views across the river are beautiful running is a bit precarious and much slower. There's always plenty of room to pass others though, even groups
