So I have a question.. why is it that on Week 5 run 3 you run 20 mins non stop but then in Week 6 you run less time and you have 3 mins walking breaks in-between 🤔 I am confused. I know there must be a particular reason!

It’s because you’re building up the time you’re on your feet / moving. Run 5:3 is 20 minutes running and 10 minutes walking for a total of 30 minutes. Run 6:1 is 18 minutes running and 16 minutes walking for a total of 34 minutes so you’re building up time towards the final goal of 40 minutes including your warm up and cooldown.
My coach gives me “time on feet” sessions when I’m building distance. It’s very effective.

Because the plan likes to catch you out! I've done the program 3-4 times now and week 6 run 1 has always bit me on the rear.
After the 20 minutes at the end of week 5 I found I wasn't able to get into my stride as easily for week 6 run 1.
But I've trusted the program and it works.
