Done - but not easily and totally my own fault

Despite being a relatively intelligent woman and after reading plenty of posts from people who had not found this one easy after run 3 last week. I set off for the first 5 mins - brain thinking yeah this is cool maybe need to upgrade our faithful snail to something a bit quicker - after all it's only 5 mins - you did 20 on Sat.

So my brains choice of step up from snail was to unleash the gazelle. Not as comfy as snail but ok - till sensible part of my brain gets a wake up call with Laura saying you've done 2.5 minutes. Really???? OMG I was proper feeling tired already.

Rescue plan put into action - gazelle shoved firmly back in box and kissed and made up with snail for abandoning it. I may have to grovel for a while.

Rest of run passed reasonably smoothly but legs felt much heavier all the way round.

Lesson learned ๐Ÿ˜

Tee hee ๐Ÿ˜

Youโ€™ll be jogging with the dogs before too long. I only started C25k because of a dawg. Not even my dog! ๐Ÿ™„. So glad I did though

Keep going. Taking care, going really slowly. You always have some slower in you ๐Ÿ™‚.

Itโ€™s right fun! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

Love it... well done for getting through. 3 minutes at 100% effort floors the best athletes. Snail to gazelle is a huge jump... you missed tortoise! Glad you made up with your inner snail ๐Ÿ˜‚

I could prob have managed tortoise - having said that my gazelle is probably someone else's 3 legged hyena๐Ÿ˜‚

You can unleash the tortoise a lot later! And we will have to look into a prosthetic for that hyena.

Happy running.

Gazelles get eaten.... snails can hide..:)

You are completely forgiven by the Snails club here on the forum... We 'shell' overcome:)

Well done you!

Slow and steady wins the race. Well, maybe not, but doesn't end up in A and E with shin splints and groin strain!
