Yes, lots of people, me included! The first two runs of week 6 are known to catch folk out, even if you've been warned and are expecting it. They are there for a reason though, so trust in the plan and you'll be fine 😊.
Yes me too, I did W6R1 on Saturday, all the rest of the programme has been well in my comfort zone so I was really surprised to find my legs wobbly at the end of the 25min run.

When I congratulate people for running the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 I always warn them to take run 1 of week 6 particularly carefully as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs, this is due to the muscles in the legs having been used to the previous run of 20 minutes.
In week 6 you have a 10 minutes run then a walk, it's the walk and then the run that makes it hard going but if you take both slowly then you should not be too tired.
I did that run yesterday, I found it hard too, so annoying. I had read on here that it catches some people out but I thought it would be a breeze after 20 mins run! W6r2 tomorrow, fingers crossed it’s not that bad. Good luck 😉
I did it last Saturday and also found it much harder that the 20 minute run. It’s weird isn’t it?! I think I was on such a high still from running for 20 minutes that it was a bit of a let down. Stick with it though. It really does work. I start W7 tomorrow. Who would have thought we would prefer a long run to an interval one?! Good luck with the rest of the plan. I’m sure you’ll smash it!
