Second run of 2023 completed last night. I thought I'd get out after work before the rain was forecasted. Stepped out the front door and the rain had come early. Usually I'd of turned back around and opted for a dry warm evening in. BUT I carried on walking out and managed to completed Week 4 Run 2. I've skipped a couple of runs on the C25K as I felt I needed to push myself. It felt friggin amazing running in the rain and wind!!🤩 Feeling motivated, hopefully it stays with me!

That’s superb news and welcome to the forum. Four weeks of runs-you’re doing brilliantly. How have you found the programme so far?
It sounds like you’re already hitting a groove but it’s always worth having a look at the programme guide. Full of lots of helpful hints and tips. Well worth a read. Most important is keeping it slow and steady at a pace where you can talk in full sentences without gasping. Most of us go too fast! Recovery days between runs are absolutely essential too.healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
Keep it up and keep posting with questions and updates-we love to chat running and we especially love cheering on newbies!
MissUnderstanding has given you the great advice... and remember.. missing out runs is not an option...No need for you to push yourself at all... every single run is important as it takes you safely and enjoyably to Graduation
Well done u, I wouldn't run if it was raining but my 1st parkrun was the wettest day but did it in 39 mins
Running gives you a whole new appreciation of rain. I'm not fussed on heading out into the rain, but I love when a refreshing shower comes along, especially if you're getting a bit 'warm'.
Just follow the guide. No skipped runs.
