Just completed W2R3. For the first time since starting this pro gramme I was really struggling and thought I couldn't continue...until halfway when I turned to come back and instead of running into the wind, it was with me - What A Difference!!!
Running outside is wonderful but you have to take into account the elements!!
Roll on week 3.

Well done, easy to make an excuse about the weather and stay indoors, good on you for getting out in it. :o)
I've been pretty lucky so far, worst I've encountered is a bit of drizzle. The only thing that would bother me would be my headphones getting wet...priorities eh!
well done for sticking with the wind and getting throught the final run of week 2!
i love running outside in the wind and rain. Im not looking forward to running in sun and heat! i think i see the hard elements as a distraction from what im trying to do!!
onwards and upwards Lilacblue!! good luck for week 3.
I soooo hate the wind too Lilacblue and as I posted once before it always seems to be a headwind for me so you are lucky to have it behind you - I have yet to experience that! Good luck for W4. Sue
Well done and welcome to week 3!!! We live in the states and in one of the windiest cities, so I feel your pain! I have decided instead of cussing it, I will look at it as resistance training along with my run! I'm petite built (with a few extra pounds) and there are times I almost feel like the wind blows me back! Well done in braving the elements and looking forward to your week 3 blogs! Gayle
