I recently found your group when I was looking for advice on Couch to 5k. This is the first time I have attempted anything like this and I have been using the NHS podcasts since Easter. I have just completed week 6, run 2 this morning, in a hotel gym of all places (this would never have happened before the programme l!). I have a lot of respect for those of you who do your training on a treadmill— I normally run outside and it felt so much harder on the treadmill than it feels outside. My goal is to be able to complete a 5k fun run in December, so I hope I can keep it up!
I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice on here— it certainly helped me with week 5, run 3 (why I found this site) & prepared me for week 6, run 1!
Hi, I'm at the same point as yourself. Next run looks challenging, but I feel up to it as have enjoyed it so far.
Funny you should say that you found it more difficult on a treadmill as I thought the opposite. I even felt like I had cheated a bit when I done my 20 min run on treadmill.
It just goes to show, that we're all different, but have a common goal.
