New personal best!

After bailingout on my run after 20 mins on Wednesday, I thought I would take it easy today. I started the C25K+ stamina podcast, only to find out it was a 35 min run which I've never done before. Oh well, I can always stop it if I've had enough...

Well, I soon got into my groove and was really enjoying my run - in fact it was the best I've felt since I graduated. Then it started to get a bit harder, but Laura said there was only 10 mins left at this pace,so I thought I'd see if I could do that. Then Laura said we will now finish with a last 5 minute burst at 165 beats a minute and I thought why not!

So today I have run for 35 minutes which is a record! In the 45 mins it took to do the programme I covered 2.81 miles which is about 4.5km. Not a record breaker in anyone's book but I am a happy bunny nevertheless 🏃‍♀️🥰

Well done!

As for the speed/distance, there will always be someone faster/slower than you. Comparison is the thief of all joy so as long as you are happy with how you are doing then you are doing a great job!
