Got ready to go out early on, forgot one important thing that I found later still waiting on the bed: nose tissues! Doh!
So the first 10 min I could think of nothing else, but then the run and my Zombie world took over, and I didn’t think of my nose until back home stretching!
Not sunny, but magically wet and fresh. Zombies and snails were out as well!
Today on C25k, Zombies version:
* 5 min walking
* 5 min running
* Repeat 8 times (30sec walking, 1 min running, 6 heel lifts)
* 10min free form running
* 5 min stretching or walking
* 10 min free form running
Feels good and doable! I even tried walking backwards for a stretch during the walking sections, as I read it’s supposed to be good for you!
Happy running everyone!

Good to see you are running again. Its lovely after the rain when its been dry for a while, isn't it? Funnily enough today I was pondering whether running backwards would be good to offset the dominant leg. Didn't try it for fear of falling over though. 😄 But I was aware of leading with my right leg in time to the music I was listening to - so it was almost higher impact on that foot - depending on the song.
Hubby athlete however, who has been running all his life until recently (calf injury), can run backwards. I can’t even watch that, as I can only think of falling backwards on my head!
So i think it also takes a lot of slow increases of distances for us forward-runners to feel at least a bit comfortable to just walk some meters backwards.
