After a couple of days of good food, good company, great board games, lots of eggs, and no runs, today I finally finished week three of the zombies version of the Couch to 5K.
Almost no zombies, and great weather; fluffy clouds, sunshine, and a cool breeze: just perfect for training to run (as Runner 5 🧟♀️)
So this run included
5 min walking
5 min running
5 x (1 min running, 1 min walking, 10 knee lifts)
8 min running (and a distant Zoombie)
2 min walking
8 min running
I even did my James Dunne dynamic calf stretches at the beginning of the route, and I think these will be “a thing “ for my runs!
Happy Easter Runday, everyone!

I was going to say 'SNAP' as I've just done week 3 run 3 this morning (yet again). However, yours is in a different league! Basic C25k is just two repeats of run 1.5 mins, walk 1.5 mins, then run for 3 minutes. Still, it's good to be back
That sounds like a good run/walk . Did u get a dairy free egg? Oumo eggs good. No dairy egg gluten. Hoping they’re reduced in supermarket or some left in supermarket. Never got one , neither did Mr D. Are u still walk/ run in your Altras? Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday. 😊
Thank you! Dairy free eggs … yes.. the real ones. 🤣 As a German, we have the tradition in our family to colour boiled eggs and I prefer those to chocolate ones, usually. And for those times when I do get a bit of a sweet urge, some dark, dairy-free chocolate bars.
So we haven’t bought specifically dairy free as husband and son can eat the usual ones, and I’m ok with my real eggs.
Altras yes, am running in them, and strangely I do the opposite to you. Run in Altras, and walk in my 10mm drop New Balance Hierros.
