You know that this is a 9 week program designed to get you doing 30 mins (three times) in the final week?
How would you expect to bridge between where you are now, to 30 minutes of continuous running? Grab a cuppa, pen and paper and spend 5-10 minutes working it out
Anyway ...
A reminder of what you've done recently:
W3R1 - you ran a total of 9 minutes
W3R2 - you ran a total of 9 minutes
W3R3 - you ran a total of 9 minutes
W4R1 - you ran a total of 16 (SIXTEEN) minutes
W4R2 - you ran a total of 16 minutes (again!)
W4R3 - you ran a total of 16 minutes (and again!)
W5R1 - you ran a total of 15 minutes (1 minute less than last week).
W5R2 - is a run of a total of 16 minutes (so this really should be easy by now)
Up to that point, you'll have run for a total 157 minutes, just over 2.5 hours across 14 outings.
As long as you go at the right pace (SLOWLY) your body is prepared ... however, your brain is telling you other things.
I remember that and I worried that it would keep doing that to me. It doesnβt. Iβm sure you will manage and week 6 will seem easier. Remember you can always repeat a run if you want to. Donβt repeat whole week just the run. Trust me you can do it and week 6 will seem easier. Good luck!
Yes I was a bit surprised too but the good thing is you are ready for it after the previous weeks. Just believe
