An hour and 10 minutes ago I completed Week 1 Run 2! I didn't post after my first run cos I'm shy (!) and didn't manage all the 60 second runs -- I think I was going too fast -- but I'm tickled pink to have completed the full run today. I feel a bit like a two-legged hippo when I'm jogging, but that doesn't matter because I've made a start and I'm enjoying the energy I have after the run and I'm visualizing myself being slimmer and fitter and enjoying running for the sake of running ๐.
I've done it - I've started!: An hour and 1... - Couch to 5K
I've done it - I've started!
Great for getting started. Just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days.
Always repeat any run you don't fully complete.
C25k is an amazing plan and really does work, you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here. Good luck๐๐
Really well done ๐ keep it slow and enjoy ๐
Fabulous to get started. Thatโs the hard bit done. Go slow, if you tire, you can go slower. Sometimes Iโm surprised Iโm not going backwards as I slow it down just a bit more and slower yet again! Enjoy your runs.
Well done, really pleased for you ๐๐ป
Yay! Well done for starting, and you have a great attitude ๐๐
Wow youโre on your way, thatโs the biggest step I think. I only started last week but have somehow got wk2 r1 under my belt so keep going, the plan really works.
Ps-I love your biog! I donโt want to be a fat old lady either so yay to that ๐
Well done!! I'm going to do my first run tonight in the gym on the treadmill!!
Well done!!๐๐๐
Welcome to the gang and well done for starting - thatโs the biggest hurdle done. Youโve got this ๐๐ป Happy running ๐
