After a couple of weeks illness and calf trouble, consultation with a physio and more rest than i would of liked, i'm back and ready to go π. I said i wouldn't give up and I'm not. So run 1 week 1 done and it feels good, then back home to hose the dog down... Which he really didn't enjoy but loved our run! ππΌββοΈπΆ. Planning to do run 2 on Wednesday and if that goes well moving on to week 2. Im not rushing and have discussed it with my physio so i can get back to were I was on week 9 without any more injuries. π
Happy running everyone! It's great to be back β€οΈππΌββοΈπ

Glitches happen (Iβve lost count of my running interruptionsπ) but we can weather the glitch & then get on with running again. You will be all the stronger second time round. π
Brilliant Shar.. delighted to see you on here.. patience will get you back to where you were.. and beyond..
Iβm still just dog walking, not running again yet, but the pool opened this weekend so I managed a slow 1000 metres in the 51 minutes permitted.. and only two others in the entire pool! It was wonderful! Feeling it today though.. tiring after 6 months off..
Hope you are all good, not aching tomorrow, and best of luck for Wednesday..π
Thanks peggy, great to be back and good to hear from you again. Well done on the swim, 1i would live to go swimming but im really not a strong swimmer and can only do a couple of lenghts and would have to rest in between each one π
