W8R3 - accidentally paused the app so did 30 mins!

My only chance of getting a run in today was mid-morning and it was 21C when I set out so I took it nice and steady. I ran the same route as for R2 so I knew roughly where I expected the 28 mins to be up and aimed to get a bit further down the road today but once I got there Laura hadn’t even said 5 mins left - I checked the app and realised I’d accidentally paused it with 6 minutes to go! I’d actually done 30 mins running by that point so I switched to the warm down and was pleased to see I was only very slightly slower than I had been on Saturday when it was much cooler and I was better rested. Bring on week 9!

I had a similar problem but earlier in the program. App running and music playing but then received a phone call. The call ended and music restarted. On I went. "My god this is a hard and I have not been told that I have a minute left yet." Two songs later it finally clicked, the bl* *dy apps not running.Good luck with your running.

That’s basically what happened to me too, I’m only glad I’d done the route a couple of days ago so I had a rough sense of when I should finish or I might have gone a lot further! Thank you, you too!

I had something similar too - got a phone call about two minutes from the end of the 28 minute run which switched off the app and my music. Had to guess when I was finished. Technology eh? Blinkin' marvellous 😂
