week 9 run 2, I felt like I had more energy today and the weather hasn’t got too hot yet so I decided when Sanjeev said ‘slow down’ I carried on just a bit longer. I hit 5K!!!! (I’ve never ever ran this distance before) and it took me 34 mins, I’m so happy! 😊

Thank you I hope my last run of ct5k is a good one, but I have an achey hip (never had that before) so I’ll have to rest up until that feels better 🤞🏻

Try some hip stretches to strengthen it in the meantime. James Dunne has some great YouTube videos. Good luck!

Very well done, but please don't do it again for a few weeks.

That's an increase of over 10% on the previous run, and more than 20% over what you did the previous week.

The programme has the structure it has to protect you from getting injured.

Thank you. Is it recommended to stick to 30 mins for the next few weeks after graduating?

Yes, 30 minutes maximum for a few weeks. However, you can vary those runs a bit.

Have a look at healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
