Not even managing 1 run per month here, but have finally done W1R3, but ran some of the downhill walking period. Strangely didn’t run the uphill walking sections 🤔. Must stop falling off the wagon and get on with this running! Happy to be out. Might do it again in May 😁

W1R3 done
If you want to do it, you will.
If you can't be bothered, you won't.
Hi Baddie! Just keep checking in whenever you can. 🥰
Good on you Baddie, gorgeous running weather coming your way soon 😎
Hi Baddie, glad you enjoyed getting out there! That's half the battle 😊 x
Glad to have you back. The better weather will have you out for a regular bit of trotting . We will all be watching your progress. 🏃♀️
Small steps to start with. Hope you will be able to build it up
You’ve got this. You started now so may as well finish ?? 😉👍🏻
Why not join cheekychipmunks and me on the April quest on the bridge Baddie? It might help to have some running buddies around. 🏃♀️🏴☠️
Come on, Baddie... If this chap can do it, SO CAN YOU.
Wow. That is so inspirational. And there are people on here that can tell a similar story.
That I don't doubt for a moment. Now, give yourself a stiff talking to and get out in the glorious Spring sunshine for a gentle C25K. Slow and steady, and remember, it is NOT a race. It matters not one jot how far you run, but for how long. Speed and distance are irrelevant; being out running for the recommended time IS the important one.
W1 is for just one minute, and if you need to repeat the week, do so. A lady on here posted a few weeks ago that she was graduating after 29 weeks having repeated weeks and having gone backwards to move forward.
It doesn't have to take 9 weeks. Many take far longer, and a few a little less.
Just remember that since lockdown 7 million people in the Uk have started running, and each has found it challenging, and at times, downright difficult.
I know I can, coz I have. Just looking for that mojo to get back to it, as much as anything to strengthen my bones. My journey was a bit the opposite in that I was underweight for years. I started running and put on weight. (Not all muscle, some of it was chocolate 😁). I’m also solar powered, so this is the time to get back to it. Thanks for the inspirational video. Off we go 🏃🏼♀️
