Thank god for you lot - realised how unfit I am despite being generally quite active and walking a lot. But 60 seconds “running” at a time is enough - it’s hard work! Soooo relieved to learn on here I am not alone. Done my 3 runs this week Saturday, Tuesday and today - planned around NYE and the rain forecast tomorrow. Already feeling a tiny bit fitter after today’s run - can that really be true or is it purely psychological??

Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K, I am so happy that you enjoyed your first week and you are feeling fitter already, just take all the runs slowly and keep ridgidly to the program, no running on consecutive days, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, onwards and upwards to week 2, good luck. 👍 🏃🏾

I feel it's all about mentality. I go into every run knowing I'm prepared by the plan and I visualise the end. You will get stronger each run even if it doesn't feel so. You'll have more miles in the tank and you'll see progress by increasing the time you are running. Embrace any fears you have along the way. You're going to do it with or without them!

Well done for getting that first week out of the way, every run benefits you a bit and prepares you for the next run so yes you will be feeling a little bit fitter

Week 1 done and dusted already. Really well done.

When I started, people told me that week 1 was the toughest week and run 1 of that week was the toughest of all. Now I've completed the program, I can honestly say it true.

What I still love about the program, is the feeling of achievement you get after completing each week.

Well, you've done that now and you've earned 2 rest days. Really well done, you've made a fantastic start!

It’d definitely true and you’ll be amazed what you’ll achieve through this - in rain or shine..!
