Hello everyone, I've been inspired by your posts so thought I'd write one of my own, I've done the third run of week one already this morning, set off at 5am so I don't scare the neighbours with the lycra and heavy breathing!! To be honest I didn't think I'd get past run one, thinking it wasn't for me... but eventhough I get a bit tetchy halfway through😊 I actually quite enjoy it! I still can't believe I'll be able to run for more than a minute at a time, but maybe I'll surprise myself🤞. Enjoy your runs, I love reading about them.

W1R3 done!
Hi Nanarunrun. It's hard to believe at the beginning, but this programme really works. I went from non runner back in early Feb, to finishing it last weekend and being able to run 30 mins. Good luck with your running, exciting times! My only advice is to slow when you need to, don't rush anything, you can do it!
I’m also an early morning runner, love the peace and tranquility. Well done in completing your first week 👍🏼
Huge well done... slow and steady is the mantra
Hi Nanarunrun, I’m an early morning runner too! Love the quietness... I’ve got 1 more run to do tomorrow and I’ve completed the program 😍 good luck with your journey 👍🏻 stick at it! You can smash this! 💪🏻
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

Enjoy your journey.
If you ever struggle - just slow down, and if you think you’re running slowly you can probably still slow down some more! Many of us here are slow runners and are able to run because we’re 🐌🐢 so you’ll be in fine company! This is an incredible journey, really hope you enjoy - i hadn’t run since school when I started back in Nov & I just love my slow running now! Good luck!
Welcome. You’re right, you’re going to surprise yourself a lot over the coming weeks and months. Great job getting started and completing week one. Enjoy week 2.
Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, you're all inspiring me! I'm strangely looking forward to the next run on Saturday morning, I will keep you posted 😊x
