W4r3 - See the world is mine now!

Yes, I love the music on the NHS podcasts - there’s always something cheesy and motivating! 😄 That’s what I needed this afternoon though - it was a tough one today. Admittedly that might have something to do with the large portion of yesterday’s (home-made) curry which I had for my lunch, and the slice of cake afterwards... I think that was the toughest so far though - tired legs, and just not feeling too grand. But I persisted and did it, so now it’s on to week 5 😱

Good to see you again Oldfloss ! Yes, Tuesday or Wednesday is the plan, depending slightly on weather and work...I am wondering about doing each of the W5 runs twice - I know that in the last the increase from week 3 to 5 has sometimes been a bit tough on my knees and ankles, so although all is going well so far, I just want to take it gently. But maybe that’s just me listening to those sneaky gremlins... hmmmm will see how it goes next week!

Loads of great knee and ankle exercises on Strength and Flex forum. They may be useful xx I shall just keep on, steady and slow! X

I should have been out today but dodgy hip has laid me low for a bit. Out tomorrow hopefully for run 2 of week 5. Quite missed it this weekend!!!

Take it easy and make sure you don’t push your hip too far. A week or two rest now could prevent a forced spell on the injury couch in a couple of weeks...

I’m hoping to get out tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. I’ll definitely be taking it easy but I’m looking forward to get out there!!

I forgot to say I was using my brand new Aftershokz bone conduction headphones! Lovely ☺️ (One sort on Amazon were £70 instead of the usual £140, so I treated myself!) It’ll take a little bit of getting used to the feel, but they stayed in place and I could hear the podcast perfectly as well as everything around me, so happy with that 🙂

Isn't it just so cheesy?! I stuck with it to the end and got to like a few of the tracks but now I love to run with my rock playlist :)
