W4R3 in the bag!!

So I have a question to all those more experienced runners out there - yesterday I completed W4R3 but I did find the week hard - I wasn’t at my best and a bit under the weather and I did do it plus extra but it wasn’t easy - I am now in Bologna til Tuesday (eating and drinking!) so I can’t do my next run til Tuesday evening (if flight on time) or Wednesday - I am going to be doing some walking and will be pushing my sisters very heavy antiquated wheel chair around the cobbled streets.....but..... should I repeat W4 or keep plodding on to W5 even though I’ve got a few days break?

Well done! I’m not an experienced runner but in my view you’ve completed w4 and can move on to w5. Enjoy a the couple of extra rest days and hit w5r1 on Wednesday. You’ll be rested and ready for it. W5r1 isn’t too bad(Did it on Thursday)You’ll be fine. So it’s your choice of course but my vote would be go for it on Wednesday. Good luck whatever you decide!

Congratulations. I finished week 4 today as well.

If it were me, i would say to attempt the next step in the programme. Only repeat a week if you've had a setback and could not complete the next step.

Move on if you have completed the previous week’s runs. Extra rest days can work in your favour.

You will be fine to move on to week 5.

But why no running whilst you are away? Running on holiday is great fun!

I’m in a very old cobbled street city (Bologna) with my disabled sister! I can’t leave her but when I come back to Italy in a few weeks I will be running around lake Garda if it’s not too hot! 🤣😆
