Put my new air buds in today and tuned into Electric Light Orchestra for W6R1 .. what a joy jigging to this band .. I’ve rediscovered what a great band they are .. highly recommend zoning out while listening to old music .. what do others like to run to ??

Lots of different stuff old and new,

The Marillion track called seasons end is good as its quite relaxing.

A more recent track I've discovered is Grey unknown by an artist called Phelian..

Music with a good medium to slow Tempo does the trick for me.

There are a wide variety of 🎶 music that runners of this forum run to, from Mozart to Heavy Metal but most run to what we call nowadays Adult Contemporary Music, the type of music that BBC Radio 2 plays.

I have a running track just filled with oldies that I can sing along to - always on shuffle so I don’t know what’s conning next. Singing is also a hobby and how great to be able to combine the two! 🤣 This morning (W6R2) I also got inspiring words from Irene Cara (Fame - ‘you ain’t see the best of me yet’ and ‘I’ve got more in more’) and Kate Bush ‘running up that hill’ (hardly, I am in the flat bit of Essex 😳). The other day though I did get the Spice Girls singing ‘whoooo do you think you are’ 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ran to Dio’s Magika today run prior to that was Iron Maiden’s Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. That said classic ain’t everything, favourite running music of the last month has been a atmospheric black metal band called Saor so wide range. Main thing was long enough to cover the run, fast enough beat for the right speed and what I’m in the mood for.
