Back at it again!

So I managed to get all the way to week 8 with 5 runs left last march, and then lockdown happened! I really struggle to run outdoors due to issues with my knee so I tried to run but then just ended up giving up ☹️ so for a New Years resolution I invested in a treadmill for the house to get back at it again! On week 4 Run 2 and feeling good so far even though I lost all my progress from last year! Goal is to build the strength up in my knee and run 5k comfortably outside by summer 😊☀️

Well done there se92 you've taken the bull by the horns and we're chuffed 👍👍

Look after that knee don't overdo it 🙂.

Have a wander across to our strength and flex program it may help and the lovely

CBDB will be on hand to assist 😉

Thanks so much for the recommendation on the program! I will definitely start that as I would hate to get injured when my motivation is finally back 😂

Have you seen NHS exercises for running (and also one set specifically to strengthen muscles supporting the knees)? It might help on you rest days.
