Still too sore to run!

Completed C25k fairly easily and went for my last of three consolidation runs on Christmas Day. I had real pain on my right shin on the outside of the leg above the ankle.

I rested and elevated the leg as much as I could ever the next week. The pain seemed to diminish but keeping still is impractical as I have to go out to get food etc. So walking is necessary. But the walks are only about 2 miles in total. I'm still having enough discomfort to make running unthinkable.

I bought a support ankle support, have strapped an ice pad to the leg held in place with a bandage and spend long hours with the leg resting and elevated. For pain relief at night (getting comfortable in bed is hard) I take a couple of Ibuprofen tablets. It's now the 17th of January. Any idea of how much longer this is going to take to heal?

I'm not bothered that I may have to start the course from the beginning, but I do miss going for my runs.
