I was dreading this run but I did it... 8 mins running twice was hard and I just kept focusing on putting one foot in front of the other. I've just looked at R3.... 😩😩

Well done on completing W5R2.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»W5R3 is the one everyone dreads, but it’s nowhere near as bad as it seems, don’t set off too quickly, get your breathing into a good steady rhythm and you’ll soon be hearing Michael say your half way done and you’ll think πŸ€” well that wasn’t as bad as I thought.....then in no time at all he’ll be saying just 5 mins remaining, and then you’ve completed it 😁 The secret is not to dread it and not to overthink it, just go out with the attitude, I’m going to do this......and say to yourself.....don’t rest in the middle rest at the endπŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Cheers mate I will take that on board πŸ‘

Nooooooooo C1578 we never look ahead πŸ‘€ so this worry it's not necessary, you've just ran 15mins in week 5run 1 then topped that with a 16min run, ok it's the 20 min one only run, you're ready for this, the weeks leading up this point have equipped you more so than you realize πŸ’ͺ and you're going to do this πŸ‘.

You know the time so..... it's important to pace yourself, don't go off too fast you lose your way before the end, start slow, real slow if you need then add to that speed of you're able when you know you've got the end in your grasp... Definitely take a drink if you're finding yourself getting dry keep hydrated, it'll help,

Looking forward to hearing that chuffed posting of your achievement πŸ₯³πŸ™‚πŸ…

Well done on finishing W5R2 CI578! Try not to think about next run too much, when it comes, put your trainers on and put one foot ahead of the other. You have done previous ones, you will do this one as well, believe in yourself, look how far you have come so far!😊

Dreading any run is wholly counterproductive...........a relaxed runner is an efficient runner. The post linked to by Oldfloss above is a breakdown of W5 but you may also benefit from reading this post about mental approach.
