if anyone had told me in week one i would be able to 'run' eight minutes not once but twice i would have not believed them. straight up. i just plain would have thought they were lying or wrong but i did it. and truthfully i did not find this run as difficult as week 4 which i found as hard as they get so far...but then i have w5r3 to deal with so i will just slope off i think at this point. tee hee :-D

We don't do sloping off, skipping class or simply going AWOL dying-to-change, you can do week 5 run 3 easy-peasy 💪, simply remember...

Slow it down, doesn't matter how slow, relax and hey above all else... Enjoy it 👍

Well done you 👏👏👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️👍

Your body is ready for Run 3! You’ve done all the runs so far, even if some of them haven’t been as easy as others. The programme has prepared you! You just have to BELIEVE it! The biggest battle to be faced here is the one with your own mind!

Don’t overthink it. Tackle it just the way you have all the other runs. Slowly and steadily. Listen to your favourite playlist. Count your steps! Whatever you usually do 😊. You can do this!

As I said a few weeks ago, Week 4 is the big step up. Week 5 just cements that level of activity.

You're ready for run 3 now. Remember to start slower so you have enough in the tank to last the course.

Yes you are changing-woman 😀👍 You’ve run 4 weeks and two runs, and you’ve got 4 weeks and one run still to go. That’s over halfway in my estimation! 😊

Well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I got a bit fixated on W5 R3 cus it’s sounds like a lot of running! But, it was fine and a real turning point for me. It was when I first began to believe I could finish the program. Go for it! 🏃‍♀️

If you're anything like me, you've found every run a challenge, thinking beforehand "I don't know how I'm going to do this next run". But then you find that, somehow, each time, you've done it! So, you can do it again with W5R3, and the next one and the next one.... until you find that you've done W9R3 😃. I'm not sure who designed the C25k programme but they are genius!

Well done dying-to-change! Just like you, I would never have believed it was possible. I've never run before, I was 2 stone overweight and sooo unfit but I've followed the programme, never missed or repeated a run and today I will complete week 8! Not in a million years did I think I'd be running for 28 mins after just 8 weeks and I've lost one of those stones! You've got this. Have faith in yourself and like me and so many others, you'll get there!!! 🤩

I got to Week 4 and failed the first run and went back a couple of weeks and started again from there. When I got to Week 5 Run 3 I managed it ok and I am now just about to start Week 8. So if you got through Week 4 you will cruise Week 5 Run 3 no problem!

Well done and thank you for inspiring me this morning to go out and do my wk5r2. I was dithering this morning wondering about whether to postpone until Monday and then I read your message and it gave me some grit to get out there. Just got back and feel fantastic for having run 8 mins twice despite thinking I couldn't do it!!!! We are so awesome.

You absolutely can do it. When I started I couldn't even run for 1 min. And slowly slowly it crept up. Still relatively slow , but now I'm addicted to that great feeling when you've finished. I can manage 10k now, which is unbelievable to me still but I'm getting more confident that I can do this. All runs are hard but being overweight, unhealthy and down in the dumps is hard also. So pick your hard . We are lapping the ones who sit on the couch.Happy Christmas

Keep at it you’ll do it! Just follow the programme, do repeats if you need to, go as slow as you like. I was like you, couldn’t believe I’d done 8 minutes and do you know what? This morning I did 40 mins. If I can do it so can you!
