So, at the end of this run when Laura says she hopes we're feeling proud, if I'm honest that wasn't the first adjective that sprang to mind 🥵🥵🤣🤣
W5R2!: So, at the end of this run when Laura... - Couch to 5K
W5R2!
Was it..." feeling...phew!"? Well done you...on you go, slow and steady!
Thank you 😀. Tbh I'm very up for R3 but increasing the amount of actual running by 25% and doing it all in one section seems a huge jump. I was getting a bit too puffed towards the very end and realised my pace needed slowing. It made a huge difference 😜
It seems a big jump but reframed in terms of total running time, it actually isn't. Your brain is telling you one thing, but physically your body is ready.
W5R3 is , psychologically, a landmark run... a mental hurdle if you like, but not the big jump that your brain is telling you it is. That was Week 4 😉
You're ready!
ENJOY!!!
I finished a fair few of my runs feeling things that are not printable here! You feel how you feel. You don’t have to feel like you’ve “smashed it” or you’re “living your best self” or you’re proud of anything really. You still did the run! You earned your tick. Congratulations!
🍏🤣 Sometimes we are just happy we managed it! The feel good factor comes later. Well done! 👏
Oh yeah, it felt great even whilst I felt pooped. My podcast stopped twice so, whilst still running, I reset it - that was quite knackering in itself. Also, I rewound it a tad so as not to run too little, And, I was running into a red warning strength wind on the way out - though I didn't notice it helping me along on the way back 🫢🫢 Onwards to 20 minutes 😜
