Yesterday, I stood up in an awkward way and my back went into spasm. Was more or less out of nowhere (I didn't have a heavy day lifting or anything like that) and without a word of exaggeration, I had to have my daughter help me me get dressed and I couldn't bend. I have been piggy backing paracetamol and ibuprofen all day today.
Even if this is feeling better. I am not sure about running this close to Christmas and risking injury again....
Thoughts?

Sorry about your back injury Plattszo, certainly it wouldn't be wise to run with that injury, perhaps get advice from your daughter regarding the run just before it starts.
(I have not been able to respond to any e mails over the last 3 days because of some fault with Healthunlocked, just before 9pm I got the first email for 3 days, your email is the second)
I think you already know the answer. So sorry, Zoe, itβs just not worth the risk. I know you were looking forward to it, too! Such a shame but you have to look after yourself. πβ€οΈ
