So we did it. Fabulous. Time was 28 mins 40 seconds. Very happy with that considering I've not ever run more than 25 mins before and I've only done that once, last Friday!
I've got a sore left calf...as ever. And my friend has pulled something. But we don't care.
The very best news is that between us two we have raised over £1000 for our local Hospice. The East Cheshire Hospice.
Not a bad achievement for a pair of old gits who only started running 6 weeks ago
The weather here has been horrendous. But the weather gods kept us dry for half an hour. The ground was horrendous. My beloved Brooks are in the washer on a very gentle cycle and in a horse blanket bag that I use for my dogs towels. Hope they're ok. Fingers crossed. I know it shouldn't be done but I need them to run on the beach. We are off to Cornwall on Wednesday. Just have to run on the beach don't we!! With our dogs!!

Wow, that's brilliant news Barbara! Well done to both of you for going the distance and raising such a fab amount of money Sounds like you managed to put together a great playlist in the end!
Thanks getting fitter. The irony is we thought we'd been dead slow...lots if the kids only did one lap, some did two so when we got to the end of 3 there weren't many left !!
We are Kristina thanks. Feel back to normal today after aching yesterday. We both had a massage and I slept 11 hours last night because I had to do 3 back to back dog walks over 12km in the morning after!!
