I graduated last month and all three of my runs since then have been EPIC failures. I've spent the last few days going through your posts for inspiration, checked my diet, doubled the efforts on my hydration and pulled my trainers on this morning with the words "slowly slowly does it" ringing in my ears. Had the best run EVER!! No bobbing and bouncing, no huffing and puffing, no beetroot red face, 30 minutes non stop, felt amazing. Of course I'm well off the pace now to complete 5k in 40 mins but I don't care, I am just so delighted to be enjoying it again. You guys are fabulous xxxx

Welcome to the forum.

You may find the guide to C25k healthunlocked.com/couchto5... helpful for some of the basics you may have overlooked and as you are a graduate the guide to post C25k running may also help give you some pointers healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If you find you need some ongoing advice, the monthly Consolidation Club healthunlocked.com/couchto5... post is a great place to go to see what others are doing and get help with formulating your training plans.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Getting out for a run is never a failure! We all have good runs and tricky ones but at this point I feel you need discipline, to make sure that you kbo. I think lots of people feel a bit lost when they first graduate. The guide and group that Tim mentions are really helpful.

Brilliant 😃 Flagging no more should be your new name, well done for getting back out there....5k in 40 mins is great 👍 Try the Nike Run Club App, it’s kept my runs enjoyable throughout consolidation. Coached runs of various times and distances, it’s nice to have a friendly voice in your ear encouraging you and you can listen to your own playlist, just like C25k too....plus it’s free 😁

Agree with Helenwheels, no run is a failure; at least you're getting out there and doing way better than those still on the couch!
