Well I'm no closer to my personal challenge of running 10k but I think my mojo is returning.
I got stuck in the doldrums for another couple of weeks after my last post but the gremlins seem to be getting fed up now. On my last few runs Mr Wizzie has joined me (he's now up to W6r3) and we've been running a different route.
Ran Parkrun this morning and almost enjoyed it, no gremlins in attendance! Didn't quite achieve my PB but very close.
I think watching Mo Farrah last night was an inspiration. Thank you Mo!

Yeah, watching someone run 10k in the time it takes me to run 5k ( on a good day!) is inspirational, strangely. It might make me feel like giving up, since his time is so distant from my own but I was definitely channeling a bit of Mo on my 12k this morning. If he can do it..............I don't think I can (I know I am not allowed to say that)..........
You will get there. Slow but sure. I heading for my 10k.However I'm not rushing it. On wed, I ran 7.69km the furthest I've ran since starting this whole running milarky which was just before Feb this year. So I think that your too hard on yourself. Just go out there and enjoy!!! yea! 😀😀
So I run 3 times a week with one of those runs being a long run.So next week my long run I hope will increase to maybe 8k.😄😄x Anyway your doing great keep at it😀😀
