Another treadmill run today. Just as boring but not as awful. I’d like to say that it wasn’t quite such a sweaty experience but I can’t 🥵😂

On the upside - I did a couple of km on a rowing machine which felt great.

Let’s hope the weather stays okay for the next 4 weeks so that we can all keeping running.

Funny really, i've been doing all my runs outside, but was thinking of un-freezing my gym membership, to use the swimming pool, oh well 😂

I only joined the gym on Thursday and they’ll be closed from midnight Wednesday 😩

I don't think that they should close the gyms, restrict the number using them, gym's and fitness clubs are for the benefit of healthy people using them, if the owners of a gym can keep social distancing, gyms and fitness centres should be kept open during lockdown.

I tend to agree. It’s easier to get adults to socially distance than to get children and Young’s adults to, but it seems to be fine for schools, colleges and university halls of residence to stay open.

I think the only way to get through the next few weeks is to run whatever the weather! Tough lot, us runners

We can survive this!

Agreed. And for me, working from home (because of the virus) gives me the flexibility to fit an outdoor run into my day. I know that I am lucky to have that.

Me too. Although working from home is wearing a bit thin! 😱

I really wish gyms would ventilate their spaces properly and not rely on air conditioning.

I couldn’t agree more, especially with things being the way that they are. A few windows that could be opened would be a bonus. I suppose that if one is a habitual indoor runner you’d maybe get used to being a rotten sweaty mess but because I’ve been running outdoors since the beginning of July (& managed to run super early in the mornings before it got too hot) I am used to fresh air and a breeze.

Still, being able to run is great whether it’s indoors or outdoors so no real gripes from me.
