On Saturday I completed the C25K programme and I have got to say it is an absolute amazing feeling. All of my runs were done on a treadmill, my next challenge is to transfer my running to the road.
I started the programme fairly low on confidence and doubted if I'd be able to complete the course. Looking through the app feeling terrified of the longer runs, but do you know what, I did it.
if you are unsure, trust me stick with it, it's worth it.

I started out on the treadmill and finally ventured outside at week 5. It’s a much nicer experience out there, although I’m biased because I find the treadmill so boring. Find somewhere lovely to run and enjoy 😊
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K 🎓 🏃🏾 👍

Congratulations D4ve_j 👏🏻👏🏻🏅🥳🥳 it’s a great achievement and a great feeling to graduate 🎓 🏃♂️
Like you I used to run on a treadmill a few years ago as I didn’t feel confident running outside, but C25k has been all outside running for me and I’ve really enjoyed it, discovering the distance you can cover gives you a great sense of achievement and I’m still amazed at what my body is capable of when I put my mind to it. So I would say venture outside for your consolidation runs as planned, try the Nike Run Club app if you feel you’ll miss coached runs (see my previous posts) and the very best of luck to you 👍🏃♂️
Well done - you are awesome. I've never run on a treadmill but can only imagine running outside will be amazing for you - lots to look at, distract your mind and the added benefits of lots of fresh air in the lungs. Whatever you do next, enjoy yourself Runner
