I did it. Ran non-stop for 25 minutes. Didn't want to get out of bed this morning - felt terribly sluggish after a large steak and chips and red wine last night - but I did and I'm so glad !! And apparently now, I'm a runner ☺️ For Week Seven it's just (just!) three repeats of this same run. Bring it on 🏃🏃🏃
Week Six, Run Three: I did it. Ran non-stop for... - Couch to 5K
Week Six, Run Three
Great willpower mummybowles week 9 is within touching distance 👍
Thanks - yay so close I can almost taste it !
Perhaps just go a little easier on the steak and vino before a run day 👍
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, as Laura told you at the end of your run "you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER" well done, onwards and upwards to week 7 which as you say are all 3/25 minute runs.
That was me too this morning! W6r3 under the belt. W7 is 3 more of the same. Excited and a bit scared too. I’ve felt sluggish all weekend too, big Chinese meal on Friday and generally pigging out. I’ll be good next week 🙈
On Saturday morning the duvet wouldn't let me leave it behind. I didn't get out until 11am.
Fish and chips on Friday evening, bacon sarnies for lunch after the run on Saturday and a cheap "Bavette" steak with boiled spuds, mushrooms and veg last night.
This sounds like my kinda weekend grub (apart from the veg bit). Which is why I need to drop two stone 😁
Well done 👏, week 7 here we come!
Was going to ask you, how it feels running in gym, rather than outside?
I ran outside last year but I'm now paying gym subscription so thought I'd use it. This morning I watched Match of the Day on the dreadmill and it took my mind off the run (a bit). I think I'm supposed to put a slight incline on it but I don't. I think it might be slightly easier than the road but kinder to the knees.
Well done- it’s great to get that one completed !
Well done! Takes effort to go out on these conditions! Always feel better when you do though 👌🏻👌🏻 bring on the next week! 💪🏻
