Getting kinda more serious now. Made it to the end but it's never easy. Glad I did it. Warm up and walks at 6.5kph, runs at 7.5kph and slowed to 6kph for the final 5 minute cooldown at the end. Next run Thursday when I think it's the last of the interval runs. Wow ๐Ÿƒ

Well done! You're doing great and they are good speeds on a treadmill :-) 6.5 km/h for a walk is certainly brisk!

To translate for the rest of us with watches...

7.5km/h is 8'00"/km

6.5km/h is 9'14"/km

6.0km/h is 10'00"/km

Those walks are pretty brisk! My warm up/cool down walk is about 9'30"/km.

The different ways to record runs ( pace, speed, metric, imperial ) always makes my brain ache so thanks for the above conversions ๐Ÿƒ

Well done,

Did my first week 6 run last night very soggy though๐Ÿ˜‚.

Well done. Especially in the wet. Wonder if you found it a slog? I thought I was a runner after completing 20 minutes non stop but Wk 6 Run 1 was strangely hard !

This was the first time I've ran on the pavement (normally on grass in the park). The first run after the warmup was really hard but after that the rest was OK. I see the last one this week is a 25min run๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Well done! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I know!!! No more intervals! Trust me ... you will love that! They were our friends in the early weeks but week 6 I hated them -

This magical little plan is turning us all into runners!

Graduation is in sight for you now! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’•
