A quick update for old feckers like me.

I can not recommend this program highly enough; I hadn't been running for 40 years or more but I absolute love it. I started in May and just keep repeating each run/week until I feel comfortable to progress. I run/jog/walk two/three times a week and have lost over 1/2 stone in weight, lost several old age related ailments e.g. No swollen ankles, no hint of varicose veins, much reduced impact of my long term Bronchiectasis, (60 years or more due to childhood pneumonia); mental state improves after every run and sleep pattern improved hugely. etc etc. I also had a cardiac event 6 years ago and my heart health has improved too. Just fitter and healthier all round and able to enjoy hill walking and the grand children etc etc much more. If you think you're too old or unfit to get off that couch, I tell you you're not; just start very very slowly and set your own targets week by week and if you feel like taking a day off do it; it is marvelous. Wish I'd not worried about what others folks would say or think; I just go now and enjoy; you will too. Good luck.

What a lovely inspirational post. If this could be pinned to a notice board for people of all ages to see, "The Noticeboard of Life and What It Is" ....it should be!
