Hi! I'm a recent graduate and completed couck to 5k in the running shoes I've had since I was 14 (nearly 10 years ago) so I was thinking I should maybe get some new ones, especially as I have some issues with ancle pain.

All advice and suggestions welcome!!

I would really recommend going to a running shop and getting a gait analysis done! I used to go over my ankle all the time until I got shoes that corrected my feet when I run. I had thought it was a bit OTT to get fitted for running shoes like that but then saw the difference. I was surprised how many trainers would exacerbate my particular problem (supination), like one model of Nike or another of ASICS. Looking back at the video of my running in my old shoes it was a wonder I stayed upright 😆 I’ve now found “my” shoe and just keep buying the same sort when I need a new pair
