This just made me think... one of my ambitions is to run the marathon du medoc... maybe I should get drunk and then do gait analysis to get the right shoes for that one!
One glass of water for every brandy so you can use the shoes Mark!! 🤣 Hope the run goes well!! Take it slowly even though you feel energetic in those fab trainers !!
Oooh not seen a lot of darker running shoes, love the black with the green/yellow. Nice shoes you have there, it's funny how much my interest in shoes has increased since beginning to run.
I’m not really a specialist in running shoes tbh. When I had gait analysis done I found out I over pronate. I’ve found out that there’s quite a bit of “science” in the design of running shoe support too as I guess many of you know - but to the uninitiated like me this was all new. These have underneath cushioning and I noticed a difference when I tried them on my frame changed for the better I tried others that have a guide rail (a bit like a crash barrier) to support but I did not feel comfortable with those.
I went to Pete Bland Sports in Kendal who I can not recommend enough. Ask for Paul or Marie - they are a wealth of knowledge.
